Ian joined Wilmot Orchards in his early teens, but had been watching us closely before then, from the window of his childhood house across the street. Ian worked as a summer student in the Pick Your Own for 7 years, before taking a year off to go to school. After deciding agriculture was what he really liked, he moved back into the area, started the Horticulture Program at Durham College, and began working at Wilmot again. Ian has now graduated from the Horticulture Program and works full time at Wilmot, mainly in the orchard helping Ian Parker, but can often be found, back where he started, around the blueberries during the season.
